motor mount differences?

the iron one (bolted) goes on the passenger side due to the extreme heat from the turbos.... put a driver´s side on the right and it will melt the glue...

pm j9 as he works in a mazda dealer. he might even get you a nice faxed sheet with the info. or call ray at malloy mazda, im sure he can do the same.

just bolt them on and try them out...you already bought them, see if you can make them work....doesn't matter what side really...if they work then they work.

He can't make them work unless he has 2 cast iron mounts.

off the top....



both mounts ONLY come attached to the iron/aluminum bit.



the drivers side mount was originally aluminum with a fluid filled bushing, was later changed to an iron mount with just a normal bushing.



i believe the passenger side mount also got the newer style bushing but i'm not sure, it doesnt fail as much, so it hasnt had as many changes
