Hey guys, thinking about upgrading my suspension a bit. I already have some Koni yellows but I'm not sure what springs to get with them. I'm leaning towards the Tanabe GF210 and as I've heard some good things about them. Do you of you have any experience with these? I searched and saw a guy with an FC with them but I'd like to get some feedback from 3rd gen owners. Thanks in advance! Tanabe GF210 Springs

Thanks, can I ask why you decided to go with a spring/shock combo instead of coilovers?

 

They are coiloversI just have a bad habit of calling the struts shocks as they essentially serve the same purpose. I didn't really choose it as they were on the car when I bought it. They handle curves extremely well, but potholes feel like you're getting a cavity search from a jackhammer.

I have 5 way adjustable Tokiko struts with RB springs on the 3rd gen and Megan Racing coilovers on the 2nd gen. Unless you get the very expensive adjustable coilovers with interior adjustability, I would recommend the strut spring combo, if you plan to drive the car on the highway. The 2nd gen is for the track. Driving the 2nd gen on the highway, is like riding a bucking mule.

 

the koni yellows are good.



get yourself a set of ground control coilovers and Eibach springs for them. They are MORE than enough for anything you'll need them for unless you are actually road racing it competitively.
