My wipers work intermittently when they are on the intermittent setting , ie . they work for a while then stop completely , then restart then stop again no matter what speed its on , most times I have to switch it off then on again to get it working then it begins to do the same thing. What could be the problem ?, is it a bad relay or something ?. Its VERY irritating !!!

the system does have an "intermittent relay", unfortunaly it is part of the wiper switch.

Mine stops in the middle of wiping, and is bound up. It only does this on the intermittent setting. I believe something is stuck down in my wiper linkage. It seemed like your symptoms for the last year, and just recently wouldn't start back up. I figured it was the motor dying, but if I wiggle the wipper arm it frees up and starts working again.

yea mine stop in the middle of wiping also, only on the intermittent setting? i always figured it was just due to an old, dying motor.

check under the steering column cover, i heard that a guy fixed his just because one of the wires was loose, he fixed the wire and his wipers worked fine again.....
