Less than a month after buying it and I'm already having problems Not unexpected though

Some related background info...car has a Power FC, and the previous owner said that the vaccuum lines were freshly routed by a shop in NC called Rotorsports. The other day, a coolant hose burst under WOT. I replaced the hose and made sure the clamps were tight as I could get them. I'm not sure what exactly it goes to, but it's the big one that's right by that black vaccuum box on the front of the engine, by the plenum. I'll try and take a picture later.

Anyway, ever since then, I have had problems getting the car to idle, and it's very random. Sometimes it will idle just fine for however long I want until I have to shut the car off. Other times, it will die right away (at a stop light, etc.). Other times, it will idle for 30 seconds to a minute then die. And when I say die, I mean it's as if I shut the car off. It doesn't bog or anything, it just completely dies. However if I catch it and give it gas, it'll keep running. What's weird is that if I give it throttle while at a stop, any throttle at all, it won't die. So I thought maybe it's a tuning issue, but really I don't know, because it worked fine before that issue with the coolant hose.

So, any ideas? I'd appreciate any help...

I ran through the same problem with my fd, i run the aem ems and it would randomly die, i check for loose connections and found nothing. i ended up sending the ems to aem and they found the prom chip loose the sent it back and i havent had a problem yet. try shaking your powerfc and see if you can duplicate the problem.

I will try that. I believe this is an electrical issue as you can see all lights going dim, etc. when it dies. I've also noticed that my Power FC commander has some weird issues, such as the contrast of the LCD display changing from time to time on its own, so it could be something bad with the Power FC. Going to check the TPS, ISC, etc. tomorrow.
