Idle Problems

Can some one please advise as to what could be the cause of my car not ideling with A/C, every time i turn on the ac my car stalls at idle, it is fine once i drive it, but when i am driving around slowly my car also heats up but only with A/C on it does not heat with A/C, when the A/C is off my car still has idle problems but not as bad that it stalls, but sounds like a steam boat , please some one help me i am really very troubled.... your advise would be appreciated........

when i stopped and if i had my ac on my car would idle funny for a few seconds and die, my solution.... take out ac, i live in st. louis and it can get damn hot and humid but you can learn to live with just the windows down

Simple & cheap solution: go to the dealer & ask for a clutch switch.



It costs under 20 bucks, I can't remember, maybe under $10. It's located on the clutch pedal shaft.



Get under there with a flashlight and you will see a spring loaded thingee that bolts on to the shaft. Replacement takes under 5 minutes, no more stalling with the ac on.
