When you lean out, the engine is getting more air and less fuel. Consequently, it can detonate and blow the apex seals which could take out your turbo's as well.

Take the car to a shop, have them check the AFR and report back to you. If you're really leaning out, you'll need to change the AFR (tune the ECU) to incoorporate more fuel in the Air/Fuel mixture that enters the engine.

Good luck, but by what I'm reading in your posts, this FD is already screwed. Sorry.

Damir, you spelled stoichiometric wrong in your sentence but that is ok.

Stoch is 14.6:1 and it is a chemically perfect mix. How did i misuse it?

And you basically just repeated what I originally said what I have already advised him anyhow. Copy Cat

Add more fuel.

Ok so apparentlynks for the help. And since I hate people who have no idea what the hell they're talking about, let's analyze what Srce meant when he said "this FD is already screwed". I would say that the words "this FD" would be referring to my car. I could also conclude that "is already screwed" would mean that for some reason, the whole car is probably pretty messed up because of the damage or something to that nature. So, let's take a look at the facts of the car:

I got this FD shell for cheap, which has a completely perfect exterior.

I got the motor rebuilt by someone who's been working on FDs for longer than I knew what a turbo did.

I knew about all of the problems with the FD before I got it.

The carpet was torn, which is fixed.

The interior had a few things broken, which are now fixed.

The bushings are jacked...which will be fixed soon.

Like I said, I hate people who make comments when they don't know what they're talking about...some egotistical loudmouth who thinks he knows everything because he's been at a board for a while...gimme a break.
