crap. I'm getting knocking just parked and revving. 61 was my highest at around 1/2 throttle at 5000 rpm. I just freaked and cooled the car down and shut it off. I'm so worried now!

 

Like I said above....You will get knock, even at idle. Generally you will get a higher number at part throttle, and during normal driving. Its on the WOT runs that you need to watch the peak knock numbers.



Again, the knock sensor detects vibrations, so it can be effected very easily by loud exhaust etc...

 

All right, I'll go have my buddy ride shotgun while I do some WOT runs. I need to do a boost test anyway. I haven't done that since I got my car (about 2 months now.)
