Are these numbers bs or what?

I was arguing about swapping an LSx motor being swapped into an FD and he throws out this:
LS1 RX7
LF 684lbs RF 695lbs (50.5% front)
LR 708lbs RR 645lbs (49.5% rear)
Total 2732lbs (55 lbs more over the rear of the car)
RX7 (R1 model)
LF 719lbs RF 718lbs (52.9% front)
LR 660lbs RR 618lbs (47.1% rear)
Total 2715lbs
I thought it had perfect 50/50. Also what kinda power are you guys running with pump gas and are driving it daily? Thanks.

triangle, i don't know who you were arguing with, but those are my numbers. i posted the video of me corner weighing my car, alongside my friends stock r1. so the #'s are real. but keep in mind its not an apples to apples comparison, because my car has some alterations that skew the #'s in my favor:
-i have no ABS
-i have no PS
-i have no AC
-my battery was mounted in passenger side bin
so those factors help my front/rear distribution.
if you'd like to see the vid, right click and "save as" on this link:

if you want to know more facts, i think i posted them in this forum; just search my username.

no one ever accounts for fuel when they calculate the weight ratio either... 20 gallons of gas behind the rear axle makes a HUGE difference also.

very true, considering a gallon of any liquid is 8 pounds right??
liquids vary in density, so no, a gallon of water does weigh 8lbs, but a gallon of gas does not
