the car beeped as if i had low coolant today....... so i was being very cautious the whole day, and filled it up til full of coolant....... drove around for a half hour and the coolant level was fine, no drops on the ground.

when i stopped, i usually keep my key in the on position for the fan to just blow all the hot air out.. and looked under the car, and it was gushing coolant!!!!!

i start the car and it slowly stopped.... i dont know if it was because it ran out of coolant, or because i started the car. anyway..... thats my new dilema.

i filled it up again with coolant, and i wanna see what happens, ill drive very slowly around town to see what happens.

2 months back, and i have all these problems, gggrrrrrrrrrrr

thanks for all your help

water pumps can fail where they seal under load like when the car is running but leak when the car is off under the pressure of the coolant. i have seen it on several other makes of car. especially chevys where it is ok until it stops then it pors out of the weep hole. this is all assuming it is leaking from the pump. so is it?

kyle,

one of the most common, and most overlooked, areas of the i have no coolant problem stem from the lower AST hose. the tank will not leak while the car is running, but will turn into niagra falls once the car is turned off, due to the pressure release and fill up....phisics i guess......
