i am currently looking into an rx7 and i found a 94 that was considerably cheap, but had an engine fire and needs motor/work. i'm pretty sure the motor is messed up from the engine fire. how bad is an engine fire and how much should i be looking at to spend in bringing the car back up to par?anything else an engine fire owuld harm?what things should i be looking at in terms of the car except the engine?also, how hard is it to maintain rotaries?sorry, i'm new here.thanks in advance!

alot, it probably melted all of the wiring and plastic inside the engine bay as well as torched the hood paint. there have been alot of people that have done that, but it is alot of work and you would need to get the car at a really good price, it would help alot if you knew more about the rotary so you could work on it.
