I had a local mechanic do the R&R $35 per hr and a nearby porsche tuner do the press work. Max cooper has a good article on how to replace the ball joints with simple tools. http://www.maxcooper.com/rx7/how-to/suspen...alls/index.html. If I had a garage I probably would have gone that route.

Did you replace your alignment bolts when you installed the Labreck bushings? The bolts are designed to deform once tight to create a lock. According to my mechanic they should not be reused once removed. He showed me one of mine and it looked pretty hammered from the nut being backed out. The nut/bolt set is only a couple bucks. You might want to order the set while you're at it.
