First off i'm new to this forum, i usually go to rx7club but anyways. I purchased a hks twin power last week and had a little trouble installing it, but i got it all hooked up with the harness and i go to turn the key and it wouldn't start. It tries too but can't seem to turn on. I checked all the other plugs that i mistakenly unplugged but made sure they where all plugged back in. Try to turn the key again and still it wouldn't start. So i unplug the twin power and reconnect the 4 prong plug that i plugged the twin power into and still no start. The car started fine before this. People on the other forum thought that it might be flooded but i don't see how, but if anyone can help me out that would be great.

thanks

It could be floated... if the car was ran shortly before you installed the HKS.

other issue might be that when you were trying to seperate the harness the pins might of came out... I would recheck the wires and also wires to the harness connector.

Also, try it again tomorrow... if it doesn't start, I say its something to do with your electrical wires.

The car wasn't ran before installation and i did try it today and the same thing happend. If this helps narrow things down smoke that smelled like feul was coming out of the exhaust. I don't get why it wouldn't start though i mean it started fine before. Maybe i could have damaged some of the wiring cause i remeber people telling me to be carefull with the main loom of wiring, but i wasn't really rough on them. Any help would be great.

thanks

Since there is no ignition/spark, you are not burning the fuel, hence the smell.

I say check all your wires and connectors..
