I just spent some time under the hood/car over the past couple of days and finally at 4am today i finished the damn thing...or so i thought. I did a few simpe mods, downpipe, midpipe, cat back, AST, RE intake, Power FC. My problem is that it has a very strange idle and i have no brakes now (i didn't do anything to the brakes). I know when the pfc is first fired up it has to go through and do the idle correct, but how long does it take? It revved to 3K and held it for about 1.5 min then dropped down to 1K but would consistently rev to 2k in 2 second intervals....what is going on?

the idle thing and brakes sound like a vacuum problem. Follow a hose from the master cyl/booster that should go to the LIM. the hose is probably not connected and causing the brake problem and the vacuum leak.

actually its looking like that vacuum nipple is on the UIM on the fd. should be right on the corner next to the firewall.

problem solved!! you were all right. First the vacuum line for the brake boostr was disconnected from the UIM and i ran through the idle correct on the PFC and it idles at around 800. thanks for all of the input.
