i am about to put a clutch in a 93 rx7b and i don't know what a pull type transmission is, has anybody done a clutch in one of these, can u give me some tips or pointers any special tools needed and what type of gear oil does it use

I've never done a third gen but I'll go out on a limb here....no worries if I'm wrong the forum gods are far more wise then I



As for pulling it, no not much special is required you just need to make sure you can get the car up high enough to move the tranny out and down. You don't NEED a tranny jack but having one is NICE when you're putting it back in.



As far as the clutch goes if you're going to pull your pilot bearing you'll want the special puller or you'll be there a long while. . . . .



As far as oil (fluid), I'm very fond of Royal Purple others like Redline sythetic which I've used as well. Works good.
