What I meant to say was, it is good to have a big turbo because it won't kick in while driving normal, saving your gas.

that is a good excuse but a lame one i used to use!

proper sized turbo is so much more fun!

eh...... t88 is cool but not as fun on the street... for drag it would be acceptable but on the street something a little less laggy would be better

Man I did a T-88 on a customers car when I worked at PFS. It was just like a T-78 IMO. We all were very surprised on how well it spooled. Go for it. You will have no regrets.....

It is a lot of fun, but that is not what he asked. He asked was it going to be streetable. I say yes and gave him my reasoning.

It will be a drag car. If I ever start autoxing I'll have to take a fully different approach. This car's meant for pure hp. In response to "Go for 1,000," it's already planned. If the 2 rotor can't handle it I'll be looking into a bigger engine. Thanks for the help guys. It really helped me. (No sarcasm there, lol.)

what about the t51r turbo will it be laggy or take awhile to spool up just drop a gear right?? will is burn ur gas up to?

You are not going to make 1000hp with a 2rotor

with a greddy t-88 especally

Not expected. I'm going to see what kind of power levels I get with the 2 rotor and determine from there whether I'll need the 3 or 4 rotor.

Edit: Wanting to keep it simple for my first high hp FD. Once I've hit the power limit "wall" I'll be looking into 3s or 4s. I do, however, want to stay in the realm of the T88 sized turbo and let the 3 or 4 spool it. I'll hit 1000 someday...
