ok just got the main part of the engine wiring harnss done but there are some plugs here that i have no idea where they go... and one of them i think should be on the other side of hte engine bay.

i have a s4 wiring harness and ecu, but i have a s5 engine

-- these plugs i think go to my acv, and the reds go to the secondary injectors--

--yea i have no idea where any one of these go, although i am pretty sure that the middle one goes to the tps--

--this one is key, i am almost positive that it should connect to the BAC, but it is on the completely wrong side of the engine bay (driver instead of passenger) but it is in the same taped area as the knock sensor--

--now this little bugger is weird... from teh look of it it is exatly the same on my 88 NA's temp sensor (the sensor in front of the oil pressure sendign unit), but on my t2 there is a 2 **** plug instead of the nipple--

any and all help would be awesome, the sonner i get this all connected the happier i will be

First pic, the red ones are injectors, the others, cant remember since I only have a jspec harness to look at right now.

2nd pic, middle one TPS, top one looks like air temp, bottom one, no idea.

3rd pic, not really sure, as you said, if it was the bac, it should be on the other side

4th pic, yes, the one on the bottom (yellow) is the block coolant temp sensor (one by the oil pressure). I believe they switched to a 2 prong sensor on S5

Good luck man, hope this kinda helps

2nd pic middle looks like too few wires for TPS

3rd pic labeled BAC, is the water thermo sensor plug end

It should plug into the sensor that scews into the pack of the water pump assembly

my experience with t2's is limited

I would check the harness over really good to make sure the wiring isn't cracked, stripped, broken etc. Some of the wiring in the pics looks like it could use some attention to save you some nasty headaches down the road

too be honest that looks more like my s4 n/a harness then my t2's harness (altho mine was an s5)

like the one you think is the BAC...it could be the plug in the back of the waterpump but from that pic it doesnt look like it will stretch that far.

i think the pics are throwing me off cause i cant judge distance without the manis on.

look at the second photo near the bottom right hand corner there is a plug that goes into the water pump housing

and i know it goes to a t2 because it has a plyg for the knock sensor the NAs didnt have a knock sensor, to the best of my knowledge

I still think that if the one in the center (2nd pic) has 3 wires, it is the TPS, but I really cant tell

yea that is the tps, positive

kk here are the colors of the wires for some of the plugs

the temp sensor is yellow with a white stripe

and the possible BAC plug is black with a brown stripe, and the other wire is black

loking at my engine bay i notice that i dont know what the O2 sensor plugs into, could it be that bottom plug on picture 2?

also there is a plug for something on my oil pan, what does that sensor read, and what harness does it plug into?

The one on the pan should be oil level and should connect to body harness since its just a warning light.

O2 sensor wire should be a Grey shielded wire on a S4, so the bottom one on pic 2 looks like it.

3rd pic, are you sure thats the thrmo sensor? It should be a green/white stripe and black wire and I thought they were green connectors.

The short plug goes to a P injector and the long ones goes to the S injector. I can not see in that pic but the bundel with the white clip O2 sensor that has 2 prongs is your #2 rotor fuel supply.

The ACV is ushaly a -: loking black clip

The lower one goes to a sensor right next to the oil neck. The top one is the intake temp sensor. The middle one I am not sure.

Water thermo sensor on back of pump. The white/tan one above it goes to the sensor next to the oil filler neck.

Yup temp sensor on side of block. The white one in your hand is the TPS. The 2 wire one in the top of your hand is the intake temp sensor.
