A bearing? Or a synchro?[/quote]

the 5th gear syncro was broken when i got the car. on the test drive i remember going from 2nd to 5th CRUUUUUUUUUUUNCH...... instead of 3rd. 3000 miles later.... whhoooooooooomp thud, whoooooooooooooooomp thud, my tranny made those noises and would pop out of gear. i assume a bearing broke somewhere in the tranny. i don't have the $$$ to rebuild the tranny yet.... so its going to sit in the garage until i do so.... this is the first time i ever saw a FD tranny break the way mine did !!! or even heard of it.... just my luck

Definetly get a downpipe. that way you wont clog up you main catalytic convertor and cause your engine to run very very hot.

Also, just in case you didnt know, watch what kind of mods you do to your car. You have to make sure to compensate your fuel system to hold up to perfomance mods.

Congratulations!! I know how it feels to drive an FD, and they are badass!!

Welcome to the Forum :bigok:
If I just going to get DP and cat back exhuast, will the stock ECU good enough? You saying i need to compensate the fuel system, what should I do to compensate the above mod?

Stock ECU will be fine with a downpipe and a catback.

APEX'i Power FC is a very good computer if you ever need to upgrade your computer.
