Well my fuel pump gave out Saturday just shy of my 1 year anniversery of FD ownership, so I ordered a new Walbro High flow pump monday, it arrived today. I just finished getting it all back together, but the car still won't fire. It cranks and I can hear the pump now, but it just won't go. Could I have flooded it in a couple of tries?

Also, is there some sort of priming i need to do after the install? I don't have the fuel section of the FSM handy to reference.

Sorry to post a new thread on what I'm sure is a much covered topic, but I can't get the search function to work for some reason, just gives me a blank page.

to prime it, just turn the key to the on position, and the pump automatically comes on for 3 seconds.

i thought my fuel pump died, but it was actually a short in the wiring on that L shaped connector on the fuel pump access panel

Well I hope I didn't flood it trying to get it started, I'm too tired to jack the car up and check the plugs tonight, guess I'll do it tomorrow.

You don't change the plugs from overtop? Maybe it's just me that does that, or is it easier from under? I also get to tired to jack it up all the time thats why I go from over top and it takes me about 5 min to change plugs.

Don't worry about making a new post man, this ain't RX-7CLUB. No one will yell at you here, but it's cool that you did try to search first brotha
