Thumbs up

Well this is my virgin post, but have been getting alot of useful info. Anyway, here is the question: Is it possible to have to large of a FMIC on a set of non-seq stock turbos? Based on my "seat of the paints dyno run" I think so. Any thoughts?????

It will not hurt! Maybe a little more lag but only around 500rpm. It will be safer by lowering the air temps.

Just curious, my car sure does seem to pull a lot harder with the stock intercooler than with my front mount. Can't seem to find any leaks or anything unusual with the front mount either. Oh well

Alsmost all of the big name people make FMIC's for the stck twins. GReddy, Blitz, Apex'i, HKS. The list goes on.

back in the day we had 2 m2 stage 3 cars, and one had the medium ic and the other had the large. the medium ic was fine it felt like stock, the large on the other hand was not. it spooled up fine but when you shifted and got back on it you had this rubber bandy feeling like the ic had to refill. it was wierd, ive never really seen another one do it

I would just chalk that up to average pressure drop.

Front mounts are fine. If you get a huge one you may notice a difference, but its not a big deal.

the greddy 2 row is the shizzle....i had one, and there are a few other guys here who will swear by them.....they are also sufficient for a good set of upgraded twins or a small t-o4e single turbo, and still providing enough cooling without having to upgrade to a 3 row fmic...
