Fd Oil Cooler
#1
Ok, i need to replace my cracked oil cooler. I have found some PWR replacement cores and need to know a few things..........
first...
what size core should i go with, i want one that performs well and isnt too big.. i want it to fit without too much modification, so one near stock size or preferably a slightly larger one would be ideal.. i have found kits from 10-30 rows
second..
what kinds and sizes of parts do i need to make the core fit (fittings, lines, brackets.)
also..
the cores come in either a screw on type or something else..
it would help to know what the stock kind is and what size the lines and fittings are...
i hope i can do this as smoothly as possible without buying a kit....... i dont have the money for a 1000 dollar greddy kit, and wouldnt spend that kind of cash on an oil cooler if i did.
any help would be appreciated.... thanks alot..

Do you want to buy a stock one? I just took mine off.
There should be a thread or two in here about putting together an oil cooler setup. It still ends up costing you quite a bit once you buy all the hoses and fittings.......
Here's an awesome old thread detailing what you need to do.
