I have a 1993 FD. Never had any problems or issues with the factory anti-theft until recently. After charging a dead battery, the alarm system went off and I have been unable to reset the alarm. I have had to disconnect the battery to shut it down. Actually wound up calling Mazda USA for support and the folks were very nice and really tried to find an answer but could not find anything about resetting the alarm. They finally sent me to this site and a thread about how to permanently disable the system. Unfortunately, the directions in the thread don't match up to my car. I found the green box behind the driver's side kick panel but the box has the 8 pin connector going into it (not a 20 pin as listed) and no other white connector is near the box.

Has anyone else disabled the anti-theft system? If so, are there pictures of the critical connectors? Thanks in advance for any help or tips.
