Exhaust temp warning indicator is on
#1
I just installed a brand new PFC v. 5.08 into my 93 cali car. i cut the appropriate wires and when i turned the ignition key to the "on" position the exhaust temp warning light is on. I look in the commander and I don't see any sensors that indicate abnormalities. To my understanding this light is suppose to be OFF when things are all ok. I don't quite want to start. also have the fan mod done... the one where you car stays on after u turn it fof.. could that be cause it? anyone else sovle this problem?

That warning light is so pointless. I would probably just unplug it. I don't think that was the answer you are looking for but sometimes simple is better.

FD3boost- on a PFC equipped car... the overtemp light serves as the CEL.
disconnect the battery and press the brake pedal for about 10 seconds and reconnect it. It's possible that it picked up an error and held it during the install.
