hey guys what is the typical Exhaust Gas Temp for a series 5 TII, I plan to buy a Exhaust Gas Temp gauge and it reads up to 1600F I know rotarys burn HOT but how HOT? Thanx!

EGT is only one part of the equation. A/F is the other. a wideband A/F is better to have.... although costs more than twice as much. its still cheaper than new engines

you can tune EGT perfect but be lean. you know exactly where you are with the A/F lean or rich

You have a narrow band A/F, which aren't quite as accurate. If you add an exhaust temp guage on top of that, I think you'll be safe. You want your exhaust temps to be 1200-1400 degrees.
