what are the normal operating tempatures for a hot summer day and a cold winter day... with the car fully warmed up? is there a huge difference? i need to find a safe cut-off point as this will be my first 7 summer.

cold days my engine temp is about 92 - 96 C fully warmed up.

thanks.
92-96 is normal

I didn't know they read more boost than was actually there... where'd you find that out?
We hooked up a Mechanical Greddy guage to the car when it was on the dyno. This was a while ago I have since went with a Greddy electrical boost guage with memory and overboost warning.

When we hooked up the greddy at the dyno and went to adjust the profec b we read 11 lbs on the Autometer and 7 on the greddy.

I was seeing 96-97° C. after my runs. I checked my data log and that was max. Plus it cooled right down after the runs. down to 92°

BTW - I got FTD (fastest time of day) for any vehicle there including open wheel cars (lotus 7 and a sprint car) and racing carts. There was a national champ there with his cobra kit car, he was the fastest car in Ft. Meyers 2 weeks ago at the Por-Solo tour. He beat me by 0.01 seconds BUT he hit a cone = 2 second penalty.

It was really cool being the fastest car there. I am going to post an in car vid in the Motorsports section at the end of the week.
