Someone should have put this to a pole and have people vote, but at the moment 1.3L is winning. So that makes it a 1.3L

only 1.3L of maximum displacement is used for every revolution
dispute is how much is 1 revolution for a rotory. 1 rotor has 3 combustions 1 piston has 1.... um ....... ......... ...?.... ****... yea, i just confused myself

IT IS 2.6 BECAUSE THERE IS 2 POINTS WERE THE GAS IS NOT IGNIGHTED. IF YOU STOPED IT EXACTLY THERE THERE WOULD BE 2.6L OF GAS COMING OUT.
You're missing the point- that's not how displacement is defined.

whoever said its a 2.6 is flat out wrong, mazda made a point of naming it a "13"b ,1.3 liters , 40ciX2 for a good reason, example: vg"30"dett in a nissan 300zx twinturbo is 3.0 liters, rb"26"dett, 2.6 liters, sr"20"det, 2.0 liters, integra b16, 1.6 liters, and whatnot......thats just how most companies name their engines.....

1.3 liters

each face of the rotor causes 1 revolution

so lets say one face is ignited, that is 1 revolution

If Wankel said it's a 1.3... It's a 1.3. Simple as that.

you can say either depending on what you use to define the literage. its really just a 1.3 that runs like a 2.6.
