Well I did a Carfax on the Car. It is clean as a whistle. The car is in florida so he didnt have to worry about emissions either. I guess I wont worryabout it either and just pay the money.

Why is that? The car is being sold on Ebay. Is their something else I should ask about? I already put a bid on the car. It is almost half of what I paid for my last one! What else should i look at?

i dunno it just sounds too good to be true ya know what i mean? when i looked it was ~$7200 which is an awesome price for an FD, so when i see a price that low i normally think the worst.

ask him if the car smokes a lot, and what color the smoke is.

I just moved from Orlando- I have lived there the past six years.

I have never seen that car- And I know almost everyone that has an

Fd. That guy has zero feedback- be Cautious.

I hope that it all works out- you could be getting a great deal, just

check everything.

Also when you go to the inspection fill it up with premium and add octane booster, that helps it burn cleaner..
Are you sure of that? Higher octane has will not burn as quickly. I would think that a lower octane would be more likely to completely burn off, just need to turn the boost down first.

Joe just drive it here to Abilene and register it here and get it inspected here. My car passed without any cats or other emmisions stuff for only $12.50. The guy never looked under the car or hood. Also they don't give us the sniff test. Or you can wait and register the car in the state the you get stationed at. You may get lucky and end up living somewhere that doesn't do emmissions testing.

Oh yeah once you register the car and get stationed somewhere else you can keep your car registered in your home state(home of record) and not have to worry about inspection. Ask you recruter and the local inspection/registration place about military exceptions.
