I have a wire short somewhere in my 93 r1. When jumped the car runs fine and i can drive it around with out problem. But the second after turning it off it will not restart. Also if i have the key in the ignition and the dash lights up, i hit the brake and everything dies, i let off and it lights back up. If i turn my headlights and the warning buzzer comes on, the same thing happens (ie- the buzzer dims to off when i press the brake). I have checked the footwell and there is nothing close to the brake column and the same goes for inside the engine around the master cylinder. Should i just look harder for a short or do you think a relay or something might be bad? Thanks.

sounds more like a bad battery or alternator, go have them checked out first before you go crazy checking **** for nothing
