I am trying to remove the eccentric shaft lock bolt. Is it a standard bolt that unscrews counter-clockwise? Anyone have any helpful hints to get it off? I have tried an impact wrench and a littel heat but it won't move.

the front bolt in the center of the pulley? An impact allways takes that sucker right off. is the engine in or out of the car?

make sure the flywheel is held down so that the engine doesn't spin while you are trying to take it off. Other than that, we used a breaker bar with a jack handle as well.. took some force but finally got it.

The engine is out of the car. What do you use to hold the flywheel when using a breaker bar?

I am at home in a garage so I only have 125 psi. This might be a good excuse to get a 3/4 or 1 inch impact wrench but man that sucker is on tight.
