Well I got it on today.....Took the car for a drive..... The tranny feels a lot stiffer....no more hitting the gate when shifting into 3rd. It feels really stable. But there is one down side....The car shakes soooooooooo much now, and you can hear 10X the tranny noise as before......Is anyone else having this with theirs too? In some ways I like it, in others I don't......anyone have some comments please chime in.

I have the same one Dan.

Did the same thing on my car.

I am looking for some thick pieces of rubber to make some cushions to help.

It was way to much vibration for me so I removed it until i can find a solution to the rattle.

I want a sports car not a cement mixer.

i have keiths brace and dragons brace on my car. i have to say both braces are awesome! they do add alot of vibration noise but hell single turbo and straight pipes add alot of noise also. anywho i would say if you have a mildly modded car or a stock car then you will be displeased at how loud it makes the car. if you just dont give a damn like me then you will love them. anyways the benefits far outway the cons of this mod. the car feels better, stifer, tigher, turns better, stops better, whatever....it just feels better

Keith....I was going to install it as well yesterday, but I didn't realize you had to get rid of one of the exhaust hangers. Right now the hanger on my canister is broken, so I don't want to be missing 2 hangers from the exhaust at once. So once I get the exhaust hanger fixed I will put it on. I also like the tranny brace, makes the car feel a lot stiffer and a lot more like a paint mixer. It was really easy to install too, it moved the shifter up about 2 inches or so also.

wow, if it moved your shifter up then you've probably got a pretty bent power plant frame or it may be broken. You may want to check it out next time your under the car. It should center the tranny and put it in to the stock position to help keep the drivetrain lined up like it's supposed to be..

LOL It moved the shifter up 2" You didnt notice the shifter bobbing around before? It must be bent cause if the PPF were cracked your shifter would have definitely hopping like a mexican jumping bean.
