Thumbs up

I can't get the pin in the attached pic out. I can only get it about half way out. Then there is nothing else to tap on. I tried pulling in it with pliers.

Anybody got in pointers or ideas?

I don't have another pin. I tried using a long screw and numerous other things to push it threw. I'll try a nail.

There is a lobe in the middle of the pin. Make sure that you don't try to force the pin through the worng way.

Tap it down with a hammer and then grab it with visegrips and tug.

I haven't seen one that wont come out.

Yea, Im tapping the right way. I just haven't found anything that will fit to push it completly threw. I'll go by some vicegrips tomorrow.

Thanks

No, that is not necessary. It pulls right out with visegrips.
