Hey guys the strangest thing happend with the 7. I am having some kind of air leak when I drive my car. I was driving on the highway when I noticed that when I accelerated I would hear a huge amount of air wooshing from under the hood. The harder I accelerated the louder and stronger the leak seemed. I pulled over to a gas station to see what was up and when the car is in nuetral and i rev the engine I dont hear the leak. It only makes that noise when the car is under load. Im still getting full boost, but when I watch the gauge, and im around 10 vacuum I start to hear it. And it only gets louder the more I accelerate. The car is also backfiring alittle. Any ideas?

I know you said that your still getting boost but I would check the intercooler couplers. After that maybe check your manifold gaskets. The back firging might just be foulded plugs.

i left a clamp loose on mine once or twice, and the coupler didnt pop off and it would make full boost (actually a little higher) but the car didnt move.

so check the clamps on the boost schlauchs
