Exedy twin plate or OS Giken twin plate clutch!! Those two are by far the smoothest and best performing clutches I know about. Plus they can EASILY hold that kind of horsepower. I've seen much much higher numbers than that getting put down with no problems what so ever and the guy was using an Exedy twin plate. They do cost, but GOD are they worth it!!!!

Cant say enough about the twin plate!!! had an ACT burnt it out in 6 months. damn thing squeaked a lot also.







BTW: whats with all the clutch threads in here

well i went with the act extreme. like 450lb and 59% pressure increase. i'm a big guy but i hope it's not too stiff. ohh well, time will tell. twin plates seem cool but it's just too much $ right now.

not in FD but in other cars ive had ive had luck with RPS clutches theyre beefy and feel good

someones gotta explain to me the different types of clutches. im familiar with the basic mechanics of how a clutch works ive done a swap with a friend on his mr2 but there are so many different types of clutches i dont know where to start researching
