sounds like a wire is messed up somewhere messing up signal and tripping codes. Same thing happened when I rubbed the wiring harness on one of my otehr cars with my wheel.. Started tripping codes and stuff and I was like WTF, then I looked and saw the damage, repaired it and that was all. So I'd look into the harness first..

 

well the other codes i had were def. due to wires being screwed to all hell. My harness had been chewed up pretty good by the person who had the car previously so.. yeah.
