I just wanted an excuse to call Vosko crazy.

 

(1) has he also found a solution for the customers to get their money back for paying for R/I of turbos 3 times? the ones who had to have 3 different sets installed to get a set that did not smoke... or if the mechanic was nice enough to do it 3 times for free any money?

(1) I agree that the situation sucks. It's looking like the solution is to have the oil feed banjo bolts modded with a small enough orifice so that the turbos get just the right amount of oil---apparently the dynamic seals need/can withstand a certain volume of oil which is quite a bit less than the stock carbon seals. The good news is that people won't have to remove their turbos for a fix--installing the bolts is a snap.



(2) JDs' rex is indeed bad ***.



(3) Just thinking about Vosko's nuts makes me ill.

I was going to post my old sig. but I didn't want to get in trouble again so I decided to instigate.



My 2 cents, I like both cars and have driven both. I personally prefer the 7. Smaller, lighter, more agile.....like a ninja midget. The fact that the Supra engine could probably take a hit from a 50 CAL rifle is nice though. Those things are damn near missle proof **** bullet proof. I heard they can run somewhere around the high 600's in HP on the stock internals. If thats true that is pretty sick. Everycar has it's weak spots though. So I guess it's picking your poison.

BTW - Rich is right about the smoke on the stage 3's. Its just cause they were getting to much oil. Brians been using a restrictor pill thats working good. He just wants to test it a little longer and pull the turbos off to make sure they are happy with the new pills.
