I'm glad some people agreed!!!!
I think cryo is a awsome idea that warrents trying due to the cost of a replacement trans. I think part of the prob is exactly what happends to high hp engine blocks. Think about it the trans has to flex. The trans is mounted to the engine, then its also mounted to the ppf. Well the engine moves a round a ton however the rear end plants to the ground and stays straight. SOMETHING in between has to bend and its going to be the trans and ppf. Something else you might try that cheap is a tq brace. The tq brace keeps the engine from shifting around which is why it makes the gears so much cleaner for shifting. Before the tq brace the trans was under flex which is why the gears werent lined up as well as it is with the tq brace holding it all in line.
I think busting the trans stems from the same problem which its obvious that the prob is going to just get worse as you throw on more power and tq cause more and more flex in the trans till it breaks something.
Just my .02, I think it sounds great and for the price it will cost is well worth trying out before spending $6K. If nothing else your going to AT LEAST have a trans thats stronger than stock.
