went to the track. first run popped out of first gear...... after than got two normal runs then next three NO MORE FIRST GEAR FOR ME! i don't know how but i broke the first trans and it did the EXACT same thing...... ah well. judge ito is gonna take apart my old broken trans and see what is wrong with it.... i think it might be time for a GURU dogmission..... :smirk:

The third gen tranny is one of the tuffs one's Mazda makes So if you breaking them left and right there are really three options.
1.Keep replacing them everytime you break it.
2.Go to a think they are a called racing eng. or racing something in Japan. They are the ones who make
the linear 6 speed convertions of non-Factory rx-7 racing teams. But let me tell you $12,000 a pop ouch.
3. Go with a Miata first gear. Ratio is a little lower so the amount of torque you are puting on it could be handled a little better the Stock one.
