Professionally installed turbos with everything sealed properly. New oil, coolant lines, turbo hose, and gaskets. Also added Efini Y pipe. Boost pattern is 10-5-6

I have not tested the CRV or BOV yet because the old turbos boosted fine without the Efini Y pipe at 10-8-10.

BNRs seem to spool up a little quicker but with low secondary it ruins all the fun. They do smoke at startup but once warmed its ok. I have intake, Efini Y pipe, SMIC, DP, Catback and reprogrammed ECU. I have the stock pills in both lines. What could the problem be?

Sounds like you have a vac leak. You should go non-sequential and never have boost issues again

i second the vacuum leak.

smoking on start up?? the turbos themselves?? must be some oil and the seals settling...

vacum leak is possible but it boosted fine (10-8-10) before with the old turbos and they only touched like 3 hoses for the install and visually they are clamped and look good. Plus I added the Efini Y pipe so that should have increased my boost?

1st time the turbos where fired up they smoked like crazy but after about 50 miles now they dont smoke that much. Everything has been sealed with new gasket along with some sealer spay that my mechanic used.

I swapped out #64 and #67 holley jets in the lines and the boost now is 10-8.5-7 Thats feels a little better but I want perfect 10-8-10 boost before I add midpipe.

BTW where can I find info on parallel setup? Thanks

if the efini Y pipe was also added, there might be an issue with the o-ring that goes in the hole. do you know if they used a new one, or was the old one re-used? it can also get kinked up while putting it in......just start checking....

do you have a boost controller? are there pills in the wastegate line?

what shop did your work?
