I'm was wondering what SIZE and type of Cone filters i would need to make myself a K&N intake, maybe some directions on how to make one, and a place to order then from? ..... thank you

 

k&n is a brand of air filter........ so the best thing to do is to buy the filter rather than make it

 

I just ordered mine from summitracing, I called them and told themI need two cone shaped filters that measure 2 1/2" id X 6" . If you call K&N they will think it's the stock replacement size. I think summit charged $52.00 per filter.

 

I just did mine so shoot me a pm later and ill get you the part numbers I used. I had a hard time adapting the filter to the hoses though so I ended up using some piping and wrapping it in heat barrier tape.
