judge ito,

what's the difference in the idle sound w/ a hurt apex seal as opposed to normal idle.
Kinda of hard to explaine. Sometimes when driving the car paying attention under a light load the exhaust noise will chuckle, chukle, chukle, at steady crusing and prematurely foul spark plugs.

Ihor,

Sorry to hear of your engine problem.

I am sure you and Dave will have it running soon again.

Yea, the motor isn't my main concern anymore. Its the turbo. I emailed RPM and A-Spec for rebuilding solutions. I fear I'll have to buy a whole new turbo. Is you car back on the road Ed?

I hope the turbo is rebuildable. I thought it was advertised as such.

My car is not on the road. It is "in storage" at my parents' in NJ. I am going to have it shipped to California in the middle of February. Then, finally I get to put it all together.

I read in this thread that you are moving to Dallas. You must be in love?

Mine can start. It just runs real rough and I have to give it gas to keep it running. Heck, if I put the turbo back on I could even drive it

how long have you had that engine in the car. if i remember, it was not too long ago that you put it all together, but i do sometimes get you and nocab confused, seeing as how i do not know either of you on a personal basis like some of the others.
