Actually all of you are wrong, our "intercoolers" are actually "aftercoolers". An intercooler is what is used in big trucks with 2 turbos that feed into each other the first turbo making lets say 20 psi or something then through an intercooler then into the second turbo putting it up to 60 psi then to an aftercooler, then to engine. Soo kid dynamite is actually right but it has just become a common term started by ricers who dont know squat to call our aftercoolers "intercoolers".

**** that...I'm FAR from rice, do my own work on my car(including tuning, engine building/porting, blahblahblah) and I call it an intercooler. If HKS, SCOOT, BLITZ, APEXi, SPEARCO can all call it an intercooler....then guess what....I'm calling it an intercooler

Yea its just become a common term that was first started by ignorant ricers. Jspecracer7 I was not calling you a ricer because calling them intercoolers is as you can see by all the companies calling them this, has become everyday lingo.
