would this fix a problem relating to why no fuel is being sent to my motor so that it will start? No fuel going to my motor is the reason why mine won't start, and that's the only reason. Could it be this?

If it's not getting fuel now at startup, and running it at 12V fixes it.. I'd imagine your pump is letting go. I wouldn't recommend using this as a method to aid a failing pump, however it could help you determine if your pump is failing..

I have been noticing some rather intrusive whine from my Walbro.. Is this common?

IGY 05-24-2004 06:14 PM

Mine whine all the time. If the pitch has changed and sounds different than what it ussually does, you may have a clogged fuel filter, or the filter in the tank on the pump may have crap in it.

How do I wire my fuel pump up for constant 12v?

Right now I just have it wired up through my haltech.

when I picked a fuel pump, Rotary performance says they recommend against walbro pumps, they said they crap out b4 others so I ended up getting a denso 255lph, for what application, I do not know.
