anyone know how good they are, and does anyone use them on their car? and how hard is it to install?
|
I have heard that they are problematic. I use a stock tt supra pump and it actually flows more. You can get them from a kid in ca at a REALLY good price. Pm me if youre interested.

I have one for over 2 years, no problems, I know abou 10 guys in my area that have them, no problems either

I know both IGY and Dragon run twin walboro pumps and have had no problems. I know for a fact that IGY's twin walboro's have been on running cars for over 4+ years without any problems whatsoever. A TON of the people here(japan) run them and have had no problems either.

So how hard are they to install?
|
not hard, just have to splice wires.. doesn't have a stock connection.. have to also attach it to the basket and the little filter thingy as well... isn't that hard to install.. just make sure its completely stable and tight in the bracket.. or you will run into problems.

Here is a page with a pretty detailed installation of a Walbro in a 2nd gen. Its pretty easy like the others said. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/RX7pump.html

I love the hell out of them and I've had duals in my car now for 3 1/2 years with zero problems. I also ran a single one before that for 2 years with zero problems. I've also put a bunch in customer’s cars and have yet to see one fail. You need to hook it up to run a constant 12v if you run duals and I would still recommend running it constant 12v with a single one as well. 90% of the crap you hear about them is from people who don't know what they are talking about or didn't hook them up correctly or are Honda guys trying to run 100psi of fuel pressure to compensate for trying to run boost with stock injectors. It's all bullshit.
Ok, I'm done now... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |

How'd you wire it for a constant 12v? Any easy trick to it or do you run wires from the battery? |
Where did you get the braket for the dauls?
