Great pics. Thanks a lot Dragon. Now, I only have one question. Is this going to wear out the Relay faster or maybe cause some problems, like draining my battery when the car is off? I know stupid questions, but i just need to make sure https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

It won't wear out the relay faster or make the pump stay on with the car off. You may see your gas mileage go down however.

That's ok, I'm used to that. I do drive an FD https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

It'd be hard for mine to go any lower too! Good info Thanks!

gas milage won't go down if you retune the bottom end a little in the normal driving area's due to a little more fuel being present... It also makes tunning easier dut to there being a constant volume of fuel there that is linear vs suddenly having the fuel pump kick from 6v to 12v and having a sudden change in the volume of fuel present in the fuel rail.. I kind of think that the change over has a little to do with the injector change over problems people have as well because they both happen around the same time..

Dragon 01-03-2004 06:04 AM

also, you don't need to worry about the relay wearing out because you've effectivly made it not a relay anymore.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

would this fix a problem relating to why no fuel is being sent to my motor so that it will start? No fuel going to my motor is the reason why mine won't start, and that's the only reason. Could it be this?

Great wriet up, I am about to install a single walbro and was going to run 12v via a seperate relay, but this looks a lot easier.

Thanks
