You guys either did not perform the modification properly or you have a nasty leak possibly at a coupler.

just finished this mod and i have a quick question. the hose that connects the charge relief valve to the y-pipe has a major split in it and it sits loosly. would this be why im slowly boosting to 6psi?

I thought Id throw this up in this thread in case anyone is interested, I made a plate for amp to remove the bypass butterfly in the y-pipe entirely.

I made a small batch of them, so if anybody wants one when they are doing their parallel conversion, just send me a PM.

Hey all

Im going to be slotting in a full series 8 engine conversion (if you can call it that) into my series 6. Now I wont be using the standard computer at all, i have a microtech lt10s to run everything. I dont have a choice with that ecu but to run the twins non sequential, but what i would like to know is am i going to be able to do the poor mans route with it, or do i have to go full turkey. All mods will be done before its dropped into the car, so getting at the various places on the engine wont be a problem(no chassis or downpipe to get in the way)

Cheers

Mark
