i wouldnt wrap the dp. Makes it prone to cracking. If the DP is a thick steel, i wouldnt worry about it though. Some DP's are super thin.

my turbo (exhaust side) is coated with that high temp titanium coating...i think its the same stuff on the apexi n1 catbacks...maybe it helps...maybe not hehe

ideals behind exhaust wrapping and coating...

is to maintain the high temp within the exhaust stream...

higher temp maintains...

if not enhance... the rate of exhaust flow..

and providing cooler external temps while hindering rust..

yes you want to maintain a certain temp, but you dont want to go over cause it will kill everything, and the rotary does that stock

Thats what i've been told, its basically not a good idea, unless you have cash to replace stuff alot. So if its a FULL race car, yes wrap/coat everything.

i wrapped my DP for about 3 yrs and no rotting with either the Bonez Dp or the Thunderfabrications one. I don't think it would do much to the stock unit unless you're running it to it's max.
