Wrapping Up Ur Turbo?

Will you really get any gain from insulating your turbo? and wrapping the turbo exhaust manifold with some anti heat wrapping stuff? LMK guys., thx

Will cut the turbos life short, the heat will have no where to go, just eat up the turbo/manifold.

u should wrap the downpipe, not he turbo

It will eat the downpipe up too. I would make a custom heat shield personally.

My DP has been wrapped for years with no problems...I don't know if it does any good, though.

It should technically keep intake and underhood temps down. My LIM must be dying, ive got nothing down there.

Well, I don't have any heat shields around the turbo, so I'm breaking even at best.

Maybes its different between turbo and na but on our old beemer it burned a hole in the headers and when it was fixed we wrapped it in heat wrap stuff and it burned another hole.

Yeah I plan on shielding my Lim, and maybe wrapping my Dp, I know it will kill it but o well. its a dp not a 1k turbo Besides its racingbeat there **** is good quality.
