Do you have to pay insurance on all of them as you would on any car? Or is there some special option for people who have several autos?
I always figured, you can only drive one car at a time, so they should let you have a policy that covers the most expensive car of the group, and let it apply to whatever car you're driving at the time of the incident. But I'm guessing that would be too logical.

Too logical. You pay on all cars, sometimes a discounted rate if you have a lot of cars.
