If this has been covered elsewhere please point me that way but, the wipers on my 87 GXL are only working in the slow setting. The fast setting and the intermittant settings do not work. I have seen a lot of talk about wiper switches on this forum. Is it usually the wiper switch, or wiper motor or the little brain box underneath the dash? How do I go about isolating the problem and then fixing it? The rear wiper isn't working either but I never really used it in the first place. I think it is not working because I had to replace the complete rear hatch and I replaced it with a used hatch which probably didn't work in the first place. I bought it because it looked original. Thanks.

Probably a relay in the wiper switch. Junkyard time.

I figured it was a problem. A question about this appears all over the place on this forum and on others. I feel so honored. Now, how easy is it to fix?
