i just put a turbo II tranny in my 1st gen and is making a clunking noise and i dont know what it is. it makes it in gear and in neutral unless i have the clutch desangage. i dont know why. i never worked in tranny before so i dont know. thanks

the tranny in my mustang did that, but it would go quiet in 4th gear. it turned out it was the countershaft and the tranny blew up on my friend. had to limp it home in 4th, luckily when it blew we had already traded for my starion and he's ASE certified so i didn't have to replace it, and he's got a shop so it was easy for him to do. hope the tranny isn't fucked man!
