Im going to be using an Rx8 tranny in my FC, along with the Rx8 motor. but the rx8 gets its MPH reading from the ABS sensor. where should i get my MPH reading since the FC has the cable from the tranny to the speedo???

I dont know, I have a similiar problem with my V8 car, a T56 trans has a digital speedo output, someone sells a box that converts it but its said to be slow reacting and it costs like $300.

Now when I want speedo in that car I no longer rely on engine RPMs, I use a GPS. There is a screen on the GPS that makes it show just speed, so its cool it shows time moving, top speed, average speed, etc.
